The assembly, step by step, from the hands that do it.
Kiekens builds industrial dust-extraction systems. Their assembly know-how is now available as step-by-step video and instructions at the machine.

Decades of know-how, without a shared step-by-step reference.
Assembly relied heavily on experienced assemblers. There was no single practical reference another technician could follow from start to finish.
Stand-in: a photograph of the Kiekens assembly hall is to be suppliedWe filmed it with the people who do it.
On site, with the assemblers themselves: the order of the steps, the parts, the tools and the checks. Then we structured it per product, per phase and per step.
- Per productEach machine has its own page.
- Per phaseAssembly, installation and maintenance.
- Per stepA short video with a written instruction that names the part and the tool.

Every step, at the machine, on a tablet.
A technician opens the machine, picks the phase and follows the steps. Each machine also has its manuals, safety list, material list, tool checklist and component list. Kiekens chose to keep it all in one place: an EKKO Library.

“With EKKO, we finally managed to capture decades of technical expertise that used to live only in people's heads. What used to take hours of asking around or searching through folders is now accessible in seconds: clearly explained, visualised and in multiple languages.
Our teams on the shop floor are more confident, new employees get up to speed faster and unplanned downtime has already dropped noticeably.”
